Mars in Aquarius
Here Mars is somewhat constrained in its actions due to Saturn's rulership. This native sometimes likes to develop a consensus before taking action in some of the more positive cases, but it can also be an irritant where the individual does not feel he/she can act alone with the approval of others. Therefore it is also frequently indicative of a rebellious streak. In some cases it represents someone who is a fighter or an advocate for a group or a cause. It also shows someone who likes to instigate or rouse a crowd to action.
In a diurnal chart, the heat and dryness of the day make the lord of Mars powerful while causing Mars to become rash. Objectives in life are more clearly defined but give this individual less freedom of movement and autonomy.
In a nocturnal chart, the cool and moist of night counteract the rashness of Mars and bring the energy level down to more tolerable levels. Projects and objectives are not as well defined, but the person has a little more autonomy. In some cases it is indicative of lethargy.
