Mercury in Libra
This is a good position for those who have interest in diplomacy and justice. It is favorable for lawyers because Venus, as steward of this place, colors their arguments in a way that is most persuasive. It is also a very good position for sales and bartering. They have a friendly, fair minded attitude and have very good manners and can be very polite. Accordingly, coarse behavior horrifies them and they can be easily embarassed by others even when they are not to blame. They have the potential ability to see several sides of an argument and find the common ground for arbitration of settlements. Because of this ability to deal with relationships, they also make excellent counselors and psychologists. Public relations work is another possibility.
In a diurnal chart, the heat rarifies this issues of argument such that they tend to be made more clear, and the dryness provides for distinctions to be made in those arguments. This shows someone who is good at legal details, at writing contracts, and for lawyers who argue cases.
In a nocturnal chart, the coolness groups that which is alike and unlike together and the wetness blurrs distinctions. This is not as good for contract writing and legal issues but is excellent for getting at psychological issues and making friends. The natives communication style can be very sympathetic and soothing.
