Pluto in Gemini
Pluto was in this sign last at the same time Neptune was during the late 1800's (1891 was the conjunction at 9 degrees Gemini). Pluto is said to deal with generation and corruption. It fits nicely with the changes seen around this time associated with technology. In fact, the conjunction of Neptune and Pluto every 492 years seems to represent the birth and death of civilizations. This may be because in the history of the last several thousand years, Neptune and Pluto has always reached a conjunction in this sign (Gemini has been associated with the first signs of civilization and literary works such as Beowulf, etc...).
Because Pluto's sect nature is undetermined, it does not seem useful to speculate about its significations in this area.
